We are in the process of building up our digital marketing activities and are therefore still a small team. We currently lack the capacity and budget to take on SEO copywriting for various product categories and for a blog.

Budget can be better utilized with AI

As we are only a small content marketing team, we constantly had to work with external copywriters. Although this always worked well, it was very costly and time-consuming. 

AI is an integral part of our everyday life and takes a lot of work off our hands, so that we can now take on a large part of the content production ourselves despite having a small number of employees.

Work more efficiently thanks to AI

It used to take me three to four hours to write a category text. The AI creates an appealing text in just a few minutes, which I only have to revise a little. 

I now need just two hours for the entire process, including keyword research, writing, revising and integrating into the store system. I can therefore handle my various areas of activity much more efficiently.

AI as a source of inspiration

We often don't receive any description of the individual products from our suppliers. With colibri AI, I manage to write an attractive text for each product in only about 20 minutes despite the lack of information. The AI's answers to the W questions alone provide me with an enormous amount of input for writing better, search engine-optimized descriptions.

For me, content marketing is an important part of our marketing strategy. For example, we want to showcase our expertise with a variety of content. However, we also need to be found online, which is why SEO plays a major role. 

In addition, we have over 800 products in our range and each of these requires a detailed, meaningful product description. Of course, this description should also appear in the search results for generic keywords in the respective product category.  

contentbird has become a great support

We use the AI for keyword research, but also to create a basic framework for various texts or for inspiration purposes. I also really like the templates. They allow us to create well-structured, standardized formats relatively quickly. 

In contrast to other programs, colibri AI is also very user-friendly. Of course, I had to familiarize myself with it first. But after just three weeks, I was actually able to have the AI create workable briefings or even entire texts. This dispelled any reservations I had about the ease of use. 

We also use contentbird to store ideas and plan content better. Together with my colleague, the idea generation process and the approval of different content is now much faster. This means we have been able to reduce the time to market by almost two thirds and still deliver quality. 

However, we would like to expand the use of contentbird even further, integrate more processes into our day-to-day work and optimize certain workflows. In the long term, product management will also be involved.
